What is Heaven of the South (HOTS)?
Heaven of the South (HOTS) is a charity mountain bike event unlike any other. Organised entirely by volunteers, every penny raised over the event weekend is donated directly to local charities and good causes. In 2015, Heaven of the South became a Community Interest Company (CIC), led by a dedicated core team of nine directors.
Following another hugely successful event in 2026, HOTS raised an incredible £20,000 this year alone. Combined with the £19,500 raised in 2025, this means that since the event began in 2011, HOTS has now raised over £200,000 for local charities and community projects.
